| Unlimited Space Design - Geberit Evening 2009 |

On May 26th 2009, with the motto of “Unlimited space design”, the Geberit Evening 2009 was successfully held at German Centre in Pudong, Shanghai.
The most important annual brand PR campaign of Geberit Asia Pacific has a clear special focus in this year on architects and designers. As the prelude to the evening, a special designer workshop was organized by Geberit, in cooperation with the professional trade media <Home Decoration> magazine and e-jjj.com. Two famous international designers – Mr. Joey Ho (Director of Joey Ho Design Limited Hong Kong, Executive Committee member of the Hong Kong Designers Association) and Mr. Lin Hao (Co-presenter for Singapore Pavilion at Venice Architecture Biennale 2008, Studio master of Architecture Dept., National University of Singapore) – were invited as the guest speakers, while Ms. Liu Xiaodan, Editor in chief of <Home Decoration> and COO of e-jjj.com, takes the role as emcee. Together with Mr. Joseph Zhou, R&D Manager of Geberit Asia Pacific, the speakers delivered highly interesting presentations to the theme “Maximized design in residential area” and “Individual development of bathroom space design” to more than 150 architects and designer. The concept of concealed installation system from Geberit has been introduced at the first time in a brand new and impressive way to the audiences.

At 18:30 p.m. Mr. Michael Schumacher, CEO of Geberit Asia Pacific, officially announced the opening of Geberit Evening 2009. Nearly 300 guests, including management members of Geberit Asia Pacific, subsidiary companies, key distributors, representatives of developers, architects, interior designers, ceramic suppliers, as well as trade media, joined this entertaining but also educational evening. The program starts with a dialogue names “Gap between expectation and reality in bathroom design”. Representatives from senior designer, distributor and Geberit were brainstorming the solutions together with the trade media. After that, Mr. Manfred Koenigslehner, Technical Director Geberit Asia Pacific, delivered a presentation about the development history of sanitary technology. The highlight of the evening was definitely the comedy drama “Ideal bathroom comes true”, showing a young couple’s experience of getting their ideal bathroom, with the support from a senior designer and Geberit solution. The value of Geberit systems to the bathroom has been deeply communicated and well accepted with the laughter from the audiences. Besides of that, passionate performances, interesting interactive games, as well as novel lucky draws help made the evening really charming and memorable. |

The Geberit Evening 2009 successfully communicated Geberit’s professional, reliable and friendly brand image to all the participants.
