The cold winter weather in Shanghai didn’t cool down people’s participant interest to vote for their favorite brands from the real estate and home decoration industry, for building up homes.
On Dec. 26, 2008, the “2008 Chinese Real Estate & Home Decoration Public Praise Top Awards” have been promulgated at the Shangri-La Hotel in Shanghai. More than 700 VIP guests incl. top management of property developers, architects, experts from universities and academies, trade media, as well as householder representatives and building materials suppliers have attended this grand awarding ceremony.
Hosted by Soufun.com, the biggest Chinese real estate trade web media worldwide, the annual “Public Praise Top Awards” is coming to its 5th year, and is widely recognized already as the “Oscar award in the real estate industry” among Chinese householders. The 1-month-lasting online voting period was open to public access and attracted more than 5 Mio. users to vote.
Nearly 20 different public praise awards have been conferred in various categories, incl. property projects, sales outlets, service agencies, decoration firms, etc. Among the category of building materials, Geberit successfully won the “Annual Best Technical Achievement” award. This glory effectively proofed the well respected technical competence and creditability of the Geberit brand in Chinese householder’s view.
